  • 1 medium red onion,
  • 2 Garlic cloves,
  • 250 gram tomatoes, ideally plum tomato,
  • 250 gram canned tomato,
  • 2 Garlic cloves,
  • 1 tbsp chilli,
  • 35 gram unrefined brown sugar,
  • 90 miligram red wine vinegar, 
  • black pepper and salt,

Perfect Burger Tips:


Allow burgers to rest 30 minutes to 1 hours so that flavors to penetrate in the burgers. Brush burgers with little oil before start cooking them so that they do not dry up while cooking. Use fresh and lean mince or ingredients. Make sure the burger sizes are even so that it can cook equally in the same time frame.

Step by Step

  1. Add olive oil and chopped red onion into sauce pan, then add chopped garlic, canned tomatoes, chopped pepper, Then add sugar and rest of the tomatoes. Add salt and black pepper to your taste. Slowly cook about 20 minutes. 
  2. With a hand blender or food processor, blend the mix thoroughly. 
  3. Then put the mix back into the sauce pan and add vinegar. Cook until it becomes thicker like ketchup.
  4. Once it is cooled down pout the ketchup into a clean jar or glass bottle.
  5. Store it in the fridge until it is finished.
